What a great location. Right on the main drive thru town. Secluded but open patio really makes this place! Gelato was amazing and the options were plenty. Coffee was sharp, hot, and tasty. The barista had a great personality and showed her business well! Parking was behind the building and perfect once you find it. A must go in NC especially when it's sunny!

Caffé Gelato IS NOW CLOSED! :( im giving 5 *'s as a last farewell. They're location on N Main st. Is shit down due to parking inconvenience for the neighboring businesses.. So please don't make the trip. They plan to have it relocated somewhere else in NC. :/

After having delicious gelato at Cocoa Dolce in Overland Park, KS during a recent vacation, I decided to look for a gelato place near my home or work area. I was happy to find Caffe' Gelato and gave it a try by buying a 5 oz. cup of butter pecan gelato. It was tasty, but I must admit I was surprised at the $4.25 price! At Cocoa Dolce, I paid $3.50 for a large dark-chocolate dipped cone with quite a bit of butter pecan gelato in it. I feel that was a good deal! I, most likely, will come back to Caffe' Gelato since it would be a cute place to bring family and friends to.

Coffee is decent, food is okay. Main reason for low rating is service; every time I order the same drink it never tastes the same they are not very consistent. Also, who ever happens to be working is usually rude and unhelpful (not always). Biggest bonus is the quiet and free wi-fi, the gelato is great too.

Great coffee. Decent gelato. Mediocre food at best. I have been to Caffe Gelato a few times. I agree with other reviewers that the coffee is good. Lots of options and flavors, service is hit or miss. I had lunch there for the first time yesterday. It was edible but not delicious. I had the chicken salad panini. It was a runny purchased mix. There was nothing fresh about my sandwich. I ate it because it cost $6.49 just for the sandwich, with no sides, but I will never order it again. My friend ordered a chicken caesar wrap. She said it was ok, nothing spectacular. The dessert case was supplied from a local baker. Again it all looked decent but nothing jumped out at you as something you have to eat. Banana bread, brownies, cookies. NO delicious cakes, bars, pies, etc. It was all individually packaged in take-out containers. It just wasn't a beautiful display of amazing desserts like you expect to see in a cafe like this.

Great coffee, gelato is decent. Staff are generally nice and service oriented. The atmosphere is nice since it has the patio and free wifi. Overall its better than Starbucks and much more quaint. I recommend it.

You could have been a solid 4 but you broke my heart! Here's the deal with this little gem. Cafe Gelato is a polished, warm cafe serving tasty desserts and some fantastic coffees near the square in downtown North Canton. It has a cool patio if the weather supports being outside and did I mention the coffee was fantastic? Family and friends have enjoyed a few afternoons or evenings sipping a con leche and sampling hazelnut gelato, but my last trip here bummed us out when we arrived 25 minutes before published closing time, found the door locked, lights on and staff closing up inside. We were a group of 6 or 7 so it would have been worth opening the door when they saw us - which they did - but instead they turned out the lights, ignored our knocks, and disappeared to the back. For shame, Cafe Gelato. For Shame.

Great gelato, amazing coffee, free wifi and a quiet atmosphere. The food is not always amazing and the overhead music is usually TERRIBLE, but this is still one of my favorite places to have coffee and chat with a friend. :)

Having lived in Europe for several years, I understand good coffee, and Caffe Gelato makes a point to use Lavazza coffee which is one of the top beans from Italy. Their coffee drinks are fantastic and if you like flavored lattes they have more flavors then anywhere I've seen. You name it, they've go it. The place is usually pretty quiet and fairly empty, so it's a good place to study or read with your coffee, and they have free WiFi which is a plus.
